THE EMPOWERMENT NETWORK GROUP - BUSIA COUNTY proudly celebrates its second anniversary since establishment. Over the past two years, the group has grown from 15 founding members to over 200 active members.
Key achievements include:
- Successful completion of the Community Maize Farming Project generating KES 1.45 million in revenue
- Launch of the Poultry Farming Project with 500 layers already in production
- Construction of rental units in Busia town, 40% complete
- Youth Skills Development Fund supporting 15 young entrepreneurs
- Financial literacy training for over 150 members
- Community clean water project serving 3 villages
The Chairperson, John Kamau, expressed gratitude to all members for their dedication and commitment. "Our journey has been remarkable. Together, we have proven that collective action can transform lives and communities," he said.
